The Cannes Film Festival is held each spring at the
Palais des Festivals et des Congres
on Boulevard de la Croisette. Many movie stars from Hollywood, New York and
throughout Europe visit Cannes for this special occasion while tourists are
sometimes able to see their favourite actors in the town.
Visitors to Cannes can view the hand prints of dozens of famous movie
stars in the concrete promenade outside this famous venue. The stars include:
